THE Fiji Police Force's cybercrime unit is investigating an alleged case of pornography in the Northern Division.
The unit's officer-in-charge, Inspector Seru Naiko, confirmed they were investigating rumours that the video had been circulated around a village in the north.
"To date we have not received any complaint from members of the public or anyone regarding the obscene video," he said.
"A team will be dispatched to the north soon to investigate further into the matter."
Insp Naiko earlier said still pictures of nude adults taken for personal use were not an issue but leaking them to the public domain was an offence.
He warned those in intimate situations to be cautious since others who had access to their phones or cameras could easily snap pictures and upload them online.
