FORMER Fijians living in Victoria, Australia have shown their support for victims of Tropical Cyclone Evan by contributing $5000 to the Prime Minister's relief fund.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of government was the Prime Minister's permanent secretary, Colonel Pio Tikoduadua.

Fiji (Fijians) Aid Melbourne (FijiAM) group president Kamal Kishore said the Prime Minister was doing a great job for the country and that the group wanted to help him and the people through natural disaster assistance.

Col Tikoduadua said it was great to know there were Fijians out there who cared for Fiji and those who lived here.
