Update: 1:05PM THE Nadi River is below critical level, according to project manager for the Integrated Water Resource Management team in Nadi, Vinesh Kumar.
"The water level is quite low when compared to previous events. At the moment, it is sitting at 2.1 metres. We get concerned at 3.5m," he said.
Mr Kumar added that authorities were monitoring river and rainfall gauges in anticipation of river level rise at high tide today which is expected at about 2pm.
