THE High Court in Suva yesterday fixed a new trial date for a man facing a rape charge.
The accused who represented himself, is charged with one count rape.
At the pre-trial conference, Justice Salesi Temo asked both parties whether they were ready for a week-long trial.
Justice Temo said the trial would run from March 11 to 15.
State lawyer Luisa Latu told the court they would present seven witnesses.
"The State is ready for a week trial and will be producing seven witnesses," she said.
