THE new coach for Lautoka soccer side is expected to be named during the Lautoka Football Association council meeting this afternoon.
The LFA had advertised for a coach with an accredited C License last week. This is after the LFA executives dismissed the former players who had been given five games to coach the side with their term extended to two more games.
LFA secretary Reginald Gounder said they had received a few applications.
He said the applications would close this afternoon.
Meanwhile the LFA executives will hold a meeting with a few major sponsors today. The sponsorship launch for Lautoka soccer is expected to be held on Wednesday.
The LFA council meeting will be held at the Churchill Park canteen at 5.30pm.
