THE Kamal Swamy-coached Nadi team still has a chance to top the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League at the end of round one despite losing to Nadroga 2-1 yesterday.
Nadi trails defending champions Ba by two points. The Jetsetters have one match remaining in round one while Ba has completed all nine games. Nadi is yet to face Navua.
Labasa maintained its third spot on the NFL points table after securing two draws with 17 points.
Suva is in fourth spot with 13 points followed by Lautoka on 11 points.
Navua and Nadroga moved up a spot after recording wins yesterday.
Navua moved into sixth position displacing Rewa with a better goal differential on 10 points. Nadroga moved up to eighth spot away from the relegation zone with five points.
Tavua has three points while Savusavu sits at the bottom with two points.
Navua has a chance to end the first round in the top three by winning the three remaining matches. Nadroga, Rewa and Suva have two matches remaining while Tavua and Lautoka have one match left in the first round.
The NFL will continue next weekend.
