PARADISE Beverages have assured the Nawaka Rugby Club of their commitment to sponsor the Nawaka 7s next year.
This is after a large crowd gathered at Prince Charles Park in Nadi to witness the tournament despite a heavy afternoon downpour which flooded parts of the ground.
The 3000 tickets allocated for the grandstand were snapped up before the Cup semi-final.
In his closing address Paradise Beverages marketing manager Jo Rodan said the company was promoting grassroots rugby.
He said they would continue with the Fiji Bitter sponsorship for the Nawaka 7s.
NRC president Mataiasi Nabau said the fans got their monies worth.
He said $20,400 of the total $25,000 sponsorship was distributed as prize money. Fiji Bitter has been sponsoring the tournament for the past 26 years.
In the Cup competition, winners Tokatoka Resort Westfield Barbarians received $10,000.
