TALE Barbarians coach Filipe Koroikai believes his side will be a force to reckon with in the near future.
The team, which includes former Ratu Navula Secondary School students, reached the final of the Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Saturday.
Tale Barbarians lost to the Tokatoka Resort Westfield Barbarians team 7-31 in the Cup final.
Ironically Koroikai was the coach of the Westfield team which won the Under-18 division during the Nawaka 7s in 2012.
Koroikai denied reports that this was a breakaway of the Westfield team. According to Koroikai they were grooming players for national duties.
He said some players were also eyeing overseas contracts.
