BROWNING Bombers maintains its lead in the men's grade of the Fiji Touch Association (FTA) weekly club competition following an impressive performance at the Furnival Park in Suva yesterday.
The defending champions overcame last year's semi-finalists First Touch 7-4 in a close battle to reign supreme in the feature match of the grade in round two of the competitions.
FTA president Georgina Lasaqa said Bombers were looking good in the early stages of the competition.
She said the side, with the likes of Ledua Mucunabitu and Taito Cadra, had maintained its consistent performance from last year.
Lasaqa said teams were still settling in and would be at their full potential after a few more rounds.
