RAIN, hail or storm the 26th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s is set to kickoff at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this morning.

The weather turned gloomy yesterday after three days of sunshine beginning on Monday.

Nawaka Rugby Club president Mataiasi Nabau said they would continue with the tournament despite the rainy speall forecasted by the Fiji Meteorology Service for the weekend.

He said a cancellation would only be made if things turned very bad.

"Prince Charles Park hasn't been used for more than a week," Nabau said.

"So with the sunshine at the beginning of the week the ground should hold. We can only pray that the rain goes away so that teams can display their best talents."

On the eve of the tournament, two teams pulled out yesterday.

Vomo in Pool One has been replaced by Western Wardens while Yalovata from Pool Seven has been replaced by Ticka Eagles.
