ORGANISERS of the Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s have set up a recreational area for children who will turn up at the tournament at Prince Charles Park in Nadi today.

The "Tribal Village" will provide activities to keep them occupied if their interest on the main paddock fizzles.

Tournament public relations manager Mere Gaunavou said this was the first time they were organising such an event.

"Our project volunteers from Europe will look after them throughout the day. There will be activities like the bouncy castle, face painting and storytelling," Gaunavou said.

"It is the first time for us to create activities for the kids. We are expecting more than 50 children daily."

The Nawaka 7s starts at 9.05am with defending champions Westfield Tokatoka Resort Barbarians taking on Vomo.
