Death probe continues

NEW Zealand police are continuing investigations into the fiery death of Fiji-born Shalvin Prasad last month.

This was confirmed by Counties Manukau Police Station communications manager Ana-Mari Gates-Bowey in an interview yesterday.

The body of 21-year-old Prasad, originally of Suva, was found on McRobbie Rd in Kingseat, south of Auckland, on January 31, several hours after he withdrew tens of thousands of dollars from his bank account.

Ms Gates-Bowey said they could not release any information on the possibility of more people being charged in relation to the case.

"We're investigating and cannot reveal any details."
