THE Suva Private Hospital's (SPH) opening hours for its medical centre will not resume as normal despite brokered talks between the relevant bodies and Health Minister Dr Neil Sharma yesterday.

A statement by SPH said opening hours remained as advised from 7am to 6pm.

Suva Private Hospital executive director Pramesh Sharma said while a meeting took place yesterday regarding the application of the General Practitioner Regulations 2010 (Regulations) issued under the Medical and Dental Practitioners Decree 2010, SPH would await endorsement of its proposed mentorship program from the Fiji College of General Practitioners.
