A learning experience

STUDENTS who took part in the Kizuna Project in December last year and visited Japan have spoken highly of the country.

There were 115 students from Fiji, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Samoa and Papua New Guinea who shared their experiences at a press conference at the Japan-Pacific ICT Centre in Suva.

Participant Sivnit Mudaliar described the trip as an "unforgettable learning experience" that had given him a sense of empowerment. The project is aimed at building closer relations between youths of Pacific Island countries and Japan.
