SMALL Brothers have taken the Suva Volleyball Association (SVA) weekly club games by storm recording wins in its debut on Saturday.
The Namadi-based club which competes in the premier division defeated Qauia Two 3-0, Mighty Heights 3-1 and Celtic Two 3-1 in its final match at the LICI Multipurpose courts.
SVA technical advisor Iliesa Raketekete said the side had former members of the Mighty Heights club.
He said the club consisted of mostly young players from Namadi Heights.
"The club was formed as the result of our ongoing circuit competition in Namadi," he said.
"Actually some players from the Mighty Heights club broke and formed this Small Brothers club.
"They are mostly school leavers and they surely have the material to be a champion side in the future."
Meanwhile, Marist Blue retained the Super Premier FBC Cup challenge after beating Saints by three sets.
In the premier challenge, Legal Patriots defeated Sharks Two 3-1 to retrain the title for another week.
The women's grade saw a new winner after Highlanders overcame Qauia beating the Lami-based side 3-0.
