NADI Volleyball Association's preparations for the Vanua Challenge have been hindered by the recent adverse weather conditions.

The NVA club games were cancelled on Saturday due to heavy rain.

NVA vice president Dan Vakadranu said it was hard to organise training in wet conditions.

He said the lack of an indoor facility in Nadi was a setback.

"The past couple of weeks have been very challenging for us," Vakadranu said.

"The squad members have been doing there own training because of the rainy weather. This has also hindered our preparation towards national Vanua Challenge in Suva.

The Nadi men's squad includes current national beach volleyball rep Isake Raratabu and former indoor national rep Josefa Draunibaka.

The women's squad has national rep Repeka Lasaqa.
