THE Rotary Pacific Water Foundation is ready to assist communities in Fiji that do not have access to safe drinking water.

Founding chairman of Rotary Pacific Water Foundation Warwick Pleass said communities that did not have access to safe drinking water could always write an application or call them for details.

Mr Pleass said since the establishment of the foundation seven years ago, they completed 200 water projects around the country.

"We have water and sanitation projects in communities all over Fiji," he said.

Mr Pleass said access to safe drinking water had always been a problem for developing countries.

He said the involvement of the community and its support was important for the sustainability of the project.
