Lami is aiming to maintain its lead in the premier division of the National Football League when they face Nasinu today.
Lami lead the points table with nine points from three wins this season while Nasinu are third with six points from two wins from as many matches.
Nasinu hosts Lami today at 3pm at the Rishikul College grounds in Nasinu.
Lami Football Association secretary Rajesh Narayan said they were keeping a low profile ahead of the match.
He said it was important for his side to maintain the lead in the competition.
"A loss would see us lose our top spot on the table and see Nasinu overtake us," Narayan said.
He said the side had been training hard for this match and look forward to it.
"The only thing that hampered our training was the rain over the past few days but we will be ready for the match.
"Also we are utilising our under-21 players very well. We have been using them since last season and they combine well with our senior players.
"Since Nasinu is hosting the match, we would like to encourage Lami soccer supporters to come and motivate the team on Sunday (today)," Narayan said.
