ADVERSE weather conditions caused the postponement of the major sporting activities in the western division yesterday.
The Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League matches scheduled to be played between Lautoka and Rewa, Nadi and Navua at Prince Charles Park were postponed.
"Please note that due to bad weather the Fiji Sun GP Batteries National Football matches scheduled at Prince Charles Park in Nadi has been postponed," The Fiji Football Association said in a statement yesterday morning.
Also in Nadi the final round of the Rotomould Fiji Limited sponsored 2013 Summer Cup was washed out at the Nadi Airport Golf Club. The Nadi Volleyball Association club games were cancelled. In Lautoka the Fitness Five Basketball Championship and the Waiyavi Volleyball Association club games were called off.
