LABASA thumped Tavua 4-0 yesterday during their National Football League match at Subrail Park yesterday.

Ilisoni Logaivou scored a double in the first half while Apisolome Turuva (64') and Christopher Wasasala (86') completing the goals.

Tavua team coach Savenaca Nasara was disappointed with his team's performance stating that they had a game plan that was poorly executed.

"We need to sit down with the boys and talk on strategies that we can take to lift our image as we meet Savusavu tomorrow," said Nasara.

"We are also aiming for a spot at the Fiji FACT this year and we need to beat Savusavu tomorrow."

Labasa coach Arthur Simmons was proud with his boys' performance.

"We had a game plan and the boys executed this game plan wonderfully," said Simmons.

"We are preserving our energy as we prepare for our match against Ba tomorrow.

"We acknowledge the Ba team and know that they are the best team with the best coach," he said.
