Six awards for Rosie

Rosie Holidays stamped its dominance in the tourism industry scooping six major awards during the AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards held at the SOFITEL Resort in Denarau on Friday night.

The event also acknowledged the group managing director Tony Whitton who was awarded with the visionary awards.

The group won the Front liner award which was awarded to Eroni Bole, Incentive Events, Marketing, Visionary awards while two of their hotels — Malolo Island Resort and Likuliku Lagoon winning the Accommodation Quality and the Accommodation Luxury awards respectively.

Mr Whitton dedicated the achievements to his parents who started the company way back in 1974.

He paid credit to his hardworking team. Mr Whitton also attributed the success to its customers.

"The clean sweep by Rosie shows that only those that won the awards but they are for our customers," he said. "We know that our success is that we have managed to keep our promise to the international communities.

"Our promise is that we are going to deliver a truly hospitable, truly Fijian and the bula experience that other international countries are struggling to achieve. We are a family company that started in 1974 and I dedicate this achievement to my mum and dad."
