Meanwhile the Fiji 7s team is the top seed in Pool D at the Hong Kong 7s which also has hosts Hong Kong, Spain and Canada.
Pool A has Las Vegas winners South Africa, Wales, Australia and Argentina while Pool B sees series leaders New Zealand up against USA, France and Kenya.
Samoa is the top seed in Pool C which has Scotland, England and Portugal.
