THE heavy rain warning for the Western Division has been cancelled by the Nadi weather office. The weather office said the rainy conditions currently being experienced could extend over the next few days but should clear out by next week.

"The trough of low pressure causing the rainy conditions remains slow moving over the group but we expect the weather to improve next week," the weather office said. "As for the heavy rain warning, it will be cancelled in our next bulletin today (yesterday)."

The weather office added that while the trough of low pressure remained moving over Fiji, occasional rain would still be experienced over most parts.
