FORMER Nadroga and Fiji soccer captain Abraham Watkins is back with the Nadroga football team.

Nadroga soccer boss Vijay Singh said Watkins had been reappointed as head coach and would start training with the players next week.

"He along with his two sons Archie and Sitiveni are back with Nadroga soccer and this a big boost to us," Singh said.

The two players have been missing from the Nadroga camp for the last several weeks.

The inclusion of the former Sportsman of the Year as head coach is expected to inject more firepower into the Stallions who are still only on two points from two draws and have yet to register a win.

"Now we are back with the full squad during training and the team is injury free," Singh said.

Nadroga's home game against Suva this Sunday has been deferred to next weekend due to the capital's side's current tour overseas.

Singh said he had a long term plan for the team and has urged Nadroga fans for their support.

"Please don't be discouraged by our current standing on the points table. We need your support and investment into the team," Singh said.
