THE Nasinu soccer side are aiming to make it three from three when they play Lami in the National Football League Premier Division — Viti Levu competition this Sunday.
Nasinu are currently third on the points table with six points from two games and are keen on maintaining their unbeaten record.
In a statement, Nasinu Football Association says they are wary of Lami's capabilities.
"They are also unbeaten in the three games they have played and will also want to keep their unbeaten run intact," says the statement.
"But since we are hosting them at our home ground, Rishikul College grounds, we have an advantage and look forward to winning this match."
A win will catapult Nasinu to the top of the table where they will be tied with Lami on nine points.
The statement adds that former Nasinu and Labasa rep Jone Rakai, brother of Taniela Tuilevuka, has been appointed as coach of the team for the new season.
"His (Rakai's) position will be officially confirmed depending on the results of the next two or three games."
The side will also be relying on the services of their two key players Shivneel Ram and Robert Nair.
"Ram, the former Tailevu Naitasiri player will add strength to our backline while Nair, winner of the golden boot at last year's Inter District Championship will add firepower to our strike force.
"He (Nair) scored a hat-trick in the match against Rakiraki last weekend and we expect the same from this Sunday."
The NFA is calling for their loyal fans to be at Rishikul on match day.
"We expect the same reaction from Nasinu fans like on Sunday when we had the knockout tournament. The support of the fans will motivate the players in the match."
