IT will be the battle between David and Goliath in the 2013 Raiwaqa Basketball Super League competition tonight at Eds Court.
Young Dynamic Redz coached by Basketball Fiji development officer Laisiasa Puamau will take on an experienced Lady Birds in the fourth round of the competition.
Dynamic Redz which has the services of Fiji under-19 reps, sisters Tiana and Donnis Kainamoli and Kelera Koyamainavure is one of the upcoming women's teams in the local basketball circuit. Former national reps Dale Wise, Agnes Sokosoko, Hannah Tuikoro and Mareta Mani will lead the Lady Birds onslaught.
Puamau said it would be a tough battle for the Dynamic Redz which had earlier lost a game to Sparks.
Lady Birds also lost a match against Grace Taito's Chosen.
"But it will be a good exposure for the young brigade against an experienced side like Lady Birds," he said.
Tonight - 6pm (W) Saints-Golden Bati, 7 (W) Dynamic Redz-Lady Birds, 8 (M) Bryce-Veterans.
