New fleet, more flights

THE arrival of the new A330 aircraft to the Air Pacific fleet will result in increased flight frequencies to Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong and Los Angeles throughout the year.

In a statement, the airline said the A330 commercial flight would provide passengers with a pre-Fiji Airways sneak peak of the airline's 24 business and 249 economy class seats between Nadi, Fiji and Auckland, New Zealand on April 2.

In addition, extra flights will allow better connections to intra-Fiji destinations via Air Pacific's subsidiary carrier Pacific Sun, offering visitors to Fiji even better opportunities to spend more time on Taveuni, Vanua Levu (Savusavu), Kadavu and the Mamanuca, Yasawa, and Lau group islands.

The airbus is expected to arrive on March 19.
