THE case of a former information and public relations officer in the Prime Minister's office has been adjourned by the Suva Magistrates Court for the prosecution to finalise pending issues before a trial date is fixed.
Rudra Maharaj appeared before Magistrate Janaka Bandara on allegations levelled against him by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption with regards to bribery charges.
Mr Maharaj was present in court with his lawyer Iqbal Khan as well as FICAC's senior legal officer, Rashmi Aslam.
The court was informed of the serving of the second phase of disclosures by the prosecution
Mr Bandara adjourned the matter to May 3 for a pre-trial conference.
