A WELDER from Fiji residing in Auckland, New Zealand appeared in the North Shore District Court on Monday charged with attempted murder of a woman.
The New Zealand Herald reported Kumar Anal Kamal, 42, was remanded in custody by the court.
It is alleged Mr Kamal repeatedly stabbed a woman at a property north of Auckland on Saturday night.
He will appear again next month.
