Update: 8:03PM THE AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards will be held this Friday in Nadi where the cream of the tourism industry will congregate.
And for the first time ever, an individual has been nominated against properties and businesses in the Excellence in Marketing Award.
Australian chef and Fijian Food Safari writer Lance Seeto will go up against the likes of seasoned marketing specialists Rosie Holidays, Pure Fiji and South Sea Cruises.
A total of 11 awards will be up for grabs, including the prestigious 2012 Frontliner Award.
The ceremony will be held at Sofitel Resort and Spa in Denarau on February 22.
