AN Australian non-profit organisation that has distributed about 10 tonnes of supplies to low-income families in the country since April last year is gearing up to distribute aid to disadvantaged children in Nadi and Lautoka
Pacific Smiles, along with New Zealand-born Fijian rapper Sam Ratumaitavuki known in the industry as Fortafy, will distribute one tonne of stationery and supplies to disadvantaged children in Nadi and Lautoka this weekend.
"This year Pacific Smiles Cyclone Evan Appeal will happen from the February 22-27 in Nadi and Lautoka areas," said Pacific Smiles director Sheree Rarasea.
"We have 1000 kilograms of donations in storage at Denarau thanks to Professional Real Estate for assisting us with the space."
