Update: 1:07PM THE Ministry of Agriculture will investigate the below-price purchasing of dalo in the Northern Division.

Permanent secretary Ropate Ligairi said the ministry had received reports from dalo farmers in Taveuni who claimed dalo buyers were purchasing dalo at a lower rate.

Farmers claimed buyers were buying dalo at $1 a kilogram when the government had set the minimum price at $1.20 a kilogram.
