THE 2013 local league competition will be one of the main agendas discussed during the Ba Football Association congress next week.

A total of 10 clubs are part of the BFA local league competition.

From this year the Fiji Football Association has made club level soccer mandatory in all districts.

Each super premier association needs to have a minimum of 10 clubs. The premier district need to have a minimum of six clubs.

BFA secretary Iliaz Khan said there would not be any elections during the congress.

He said the financial report would be presented.

"Since there is no elections the major discussions would be on the local league competition.

"The Fiji FA is strict about the club competition. They want a fully fledged competition.

"We have the 10 clubs to meet the minimum requirement. Also we will be looking at ways to implement the women's soccer competition which is another requirement of the parent body."

The BFA congress will be held at the Ba Town Council hall on February 27 starting at 7pm.

The clubs in the BFA local league competition include GM Ba FC, 4R Electrical Ba FC, Veisaru, Tauvegavega, Cosmos, Magaruru, Nailaga FC, Rovers FC and Race Course.
