PEOPLE in the north have lauded the free screening provided by the Vodafone Amalgamated Telecom Holdings and the Action for Children and the Aged (ACATA).

Vatudova resident Mohammed Abbas who took advantage of the opportunity said the free screening held in front of Takia Hotel was an act of love and concern by the two groups.

"It is good to see organisations such as the Vodafone ATH and ACATA taking interest and actively participating in the wellness of the local people," he said.

"Many of the organisations that claim to be concerned about wellness hardly do this type of exercises therefore we are thankful to the two organisations for taking their time out to carry out this screening."

Schoolteacher Iliesa Waqa said he was thankful to the two organisations for providing the public with a chance to know their health status.
