NIGERIAN Henry Asombe is a doubtful starter for Lautoka against Nadi in the National Football League at Prince Charles Park this afternoon.
Asombe sustained an ankle injury and did not train with the Blues earlier this week. He was one of the key players who provided the spark for the Sugar City team in the 2-0 victory over Navua at Lawaqa Park last week.
The Lautoka players have been promised financial rewards if they end Nadi's unbeaten run.
The financial promise boosted the morale of the players who attended two training sessions daily.
Star midfielder Alvin Avinesh could be part of the starting line-up against the Jetsetters.
Avinesh needs to clear a fine imposed by the Fiji Football Association independent arbitrator for breach of contract.
He was also banned from playing for the first seven weeks in 2012.
Lautoka lost both matches to Nadi last year.
The fixture will kick off at 4pm.
