Saturday, February 16, 2013

A LEADERSHIP training organised for village headmen of Cakaudrove Province reminded them of the importance of their roles to their people.

Acting roko tui Cakaudrove Sara Bulutani said about 100 participants attended the training held at Savusavu this week.

The training was to allow headmen share views and ideas on improving work relationship with villagers in their respective areas.

He said it was also an opportunity for officials to remind village headmen of the tasks they had been entrusted with.

"The provincial council office recognises the important role that village headmen play in their various village settings and that is why we are targeting educating and updating their leadership management roles," said Mr Bulutani.
