THE Nadi Football Association will kick start its development program with a junior clinic tomorrow.
The junior clinic which will be held at the Nadi Muslim Primary School ground will target kids between the ages of six and 14 years.
NFA president Navneeda Gounder said the implementation of the development program was promised after the annual congress last month.
He said this was passed during the first council meeting last night.
Gounder said the junior clinic would run for two hours.
"The aim is for the kids to learn the basics of the sport," Gounder said.
"The clinic will run from 9am-11am. A minimal registration fee will be charged per participant.
"Also during the council meeting the commencement of the local league was discussed. The clubs have been given time until 4pm tomorrow (today) to register.
"We plan to start the local league next week. It will be played in the super premier and premier grades.
"The idea to form the Nadi Women's Football Association has been floated."
