FORMER national reps will boost the Police side when they challenge Moce II for the Perpetual Cup in the Suva Cricket Association competition tomorrow.

Association president Adriu Misiki said with Uate Uluiqalau and Watisoni Lesi on a comeback, the Police team surely would give Moce II a run for their money.

"The Police team which had started to build up their team from previous weeks look formidable to take the champion Moce II side to the wire," he said.

"Also in the Police side are seasonal players like Joni Ledua and Jo Kasa and it will be interesting to see the strength of the rivalry."

Misiki added Moce II would be no pushover either as they had successfully defended the title against Nasaqalau last week after winning it from Yadrana two weeks earlier.

"Moce has its senior players like Inoke Kacilala and Akapusi Ledua leading the attacks, with its age-group Fiji reps who will help in trying to defend their silverware.

"The likes of Metui Daucakacaka and Metuisela Beitaki who are both in the under-19 Fiji squad will surely be an added advantage in this challenge match."

He said the other interesting match would be between Yadrana and Moce I.

"Yadrana, with its five Fiji reps back from the New Zealand tour will be a team to watch this season.

"These two teams are giants in the Suva Cricket Competition and with Samuela Draunivudi, Vueta Vuiyasawa and Jone Wesele back with the Yadrana team we will be watching one of the much awaited games between the two.

"With Moce I having the services of some Fiji reps like Iniasi Cakacaka and Viliame Yabaki, it will be interesting to see who will come out of the fire unscathed," Misiki said.
