THE organisers of the Nawaka 7s tournament have joined hands with the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation to host a bigger, better event compared to last year.

The Fiji Bitter sponsored tournament will feature 64 teams to be played at Nadi's Prince Charles Park.

FBC, for the second year in a row will host their Park Jam next to the games venue in Nadi.

FBC director Sales and Marketing Morika Hunter said they would also air live coverage of the games.

"For this tournament, we will be offering the public information about the tournament before it begins and during the tournament we will have live commentary from Nadi," she said.

"Also games will be on television on FBC TV and right next to Prince Charles Park FBC will have the biggest free Park Jam concert in Fiji."

Nawaka Rugby Club president Mataiasi Nabou said they looked forward to working with FBC to ensure a successful tournament.

"We thank FBC for working with us in trying to give back to the public good quality rugby and entertainment. The theme for the tournament is uplifting the standard of rugby from grassroots level."

The tournament will be held on March 1 and 2.
