What they have to offer

GUESTS at the Western Denarau Island Resort and Spa would now fully enjoy what the resort has to offer them in terms of exquisite rooms, Fijian culture and the friendly service.

This was after the resort later opened its doors again to their guests last week since being affected by Cyclone Evan last year.

Guests and stakeholders were invited to a re-opening cocktail party event last Friday to officially welcome the in-house guests not only to the resort but to our beautiful country.

Westin Resort Manager Ravinder Dhesi did the honours in officially welcoming the guests during his informal address at the cocktail party.

Mr Dhesi said the resort was appreciative of the tremendous support their guests have shown over the years, particularly in returning to enjoy what the resort had to offer them.

He says the management and staff of Westin Resort thanks the guests and hope that they will enjoy their stay at the resort.

One of the things that guests would have to look forward to at the Westin resort is the night life activities.

The night life experience is always charming as the magical world of Fiji through the famous Westin Unwind Ritual comes to life with warriors performing breathtaking fire and unique cultural dances that represent what Fiji is about.

The rituals start off with Fijian warriors beating the lali to herald the evening, followed by a torch lighting ceremony, fire dance, fire walking, cultural shows and a meke that tells the legends of Fiji—demonstrating the ancient lifestyle of their ancestors.

For those who love to indulge in spa treatments, they could always renew and rejuvenate with a little indulgence at the Heavenly Spa by Westin located amid the beautiful lush gardens.

Guests at the Westin are introduced to The Seven Pillars of Well Being philosophy which addresses the elements of nature, beauty, life balance, harmony, aqua, vitality and nutrition through the spa's facilities and services.

The Westin Resort has 273 guest rooms and suites which are superbly placed in the South Pacific setting.

Each room features the Westin signature Westin Heavenly Bed, 32" LCD TV, refreshment centre, tea and coffee—making facility, high-speed internet and heavenly showers. All rooms have a private balcony or patio overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens or waterfront.
