House for priest

RESPECTING all religious groups in the country is part of government's objective, says provincial administrator Macuata Joseva Rokonai. He made the comment at the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a home for the Muslim priest who would serve in the Tabia area, near Labasa Town. Tabia Muslim group president Aiyub Khan said the old house had been around for 60 years and their priest needed a new home.

Medical help

THE new health centre in Bua would serve the medical needs of the people in the area, says Health Minister Doctor Neil Sharma. He said the health centre, which was recently relocated closer to Bua Lomanikoro from Naikavaki, was designed to provide more medical services compared to the previous health centre. "Construction is almost complete and the health centre would open to cater for the people's health needs," Dr Sharma said.
