Anti-violence campaign

Update: 1:07PM THE One Billion Rising campaign begins tomorrow with preparations under way for a flash mob and information and mingling night to follow.

The initiative is a global one aimed at highlighting the need for the public to do away with all forms of violence against women.

The public is being encouraged to attend the event tomorrow at the University of the South Pacific, where The Vagina Monologues will take place.
