NATIONAL sevens team selector Lote Rasiga says some changes need to made to the Fiji side that travels to the Hong Kong 7s tournament next month.
The Fiji 7s side finished fourth in the Las Vegas 7s tournament and also sits on fourth place on the HSBC Sevens World Series points table.
Rasiga said he believed the current team would not produce the desired results in Hong Kong.
He said there were other players who could make a difference.
"The Hong Kong 7s is not the same as the other tournaments on the circuit," the Red Rock mentor said.
"It (Hong Kong 7s) is the most sought after title on the series not only because of the points but also because of its fame," he said.
"I think some changes need to be made to our national side for the Hong Kong 7s tournament."
He said players equipped with speed, power and were mentality and spiritually focused would handle the pressure in the Hong Kong.
"The atmosphere, crowd and competition is totally different compared to the other tournaments on the series.
"We need some experienced players who can handle the pressure and can use their speed, power, mentality and spirituality to achieve goals.
"Also, I think the coaches should talk to the players about what to expect in the Hong Kong 7s and how best they can go about in the tournament," Rasiga said.
