RED Rock sevens team coach Lote Rasiga believes Jasa Veremalua can become a better player.
Rasiga was the man who introduced Veremalua to the national selectors by using him well to win local tournament.
Veremalua, captain of the MH Red Rock side, went on to score the first two tries in the Las Vegas 7s tournament.
"From what I saw, he has become a good sevens players but I believe he can do better," Rasiga said.
"His biggest weakness is that he does not have enough upper body strength," he said. "That is why you see he is not able to stand strong in the rucks and mauls because opponents have more upper body strength."
Rasiga said Veremalua's could be used an impact player.
"He was given enough game time as an impact player and he managed to score some tries as well.
"He has really good speed and agility but he really needs to work on his upper body strength.
"I think he should bulk up a bit and strengthen his upper body but he must maintain his speed and agility," he said.
