School aces exam

A SMALL Nausori-based school has achieved a milestone with its external examination mark results for 2012.

According to a statement, Nausori High School's Shiva S Shankar scored 366 out of a possible 400 marks in his Fiji School Leaving Certificate Exam.

His subject marks were maths 93, English 88, biology 91, chemistry 94 and physics 88.

Shiva's marks were the highest in the Nausori district which consists of 29 schools.

In addition Naazish Ali scored 97 out of 100 in Urdu, such being the highest in the nation.

School principal Praveen Chand was elated and gave credit to the strong culture of team work at Nausori High School.

The school aims to do even better for the 2013 academic year.
