Update: 1:24PM THE Fiji Police Force will be conducting a recruitment drive from next Wednesday.
The recruitment centre will be at the police academy at Nasova, Lautoka Police Station and the Labasa Police Station.
Spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said 70 places were being offered in the basic recruitment course.
He said those officers would undergo 16 weeks of training before graduating as police officers.
"The minimum level of education is a Form Seven pass and they must be under the age of 28," Insp Sokomuri said.
