Update: 6:50PM PRIME Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama this morning praised the work carried out by staff at Fijis permanent mission to the United Nations in advancing the countrys foreign policy.
A government statement issued this afternoon said that Cmdr Bainimarama highlighted how Fijis achievements were largely credited to the leadership of the Minister for Foreign Affairs Ratu Inoke Kubuabola and the head of Fijis mission to the UN Peter Thompson.
While addressing his officers at the military parade at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua this morning, he also reiterated Fijis capability in steering the G77+China group and the International Sugar Organisation.
