Thursday, January 31, 2013

THE Suva Magistrates Court yesterday heard that two prisoners who escaped from Naboro prison in September last year are expected to go under medical review today.

Isoa Waqa and Solomoni Qurai are charged with damaging property, criminal intimidation and resisting arrest. Waqa is also charged with theft.

The duo on September 17 with others broke out of the Naboro Prison Complex and are each charged with a count damaging property

They appeared before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili, they both asked to be provided with medical reports.

However, Mr Ratuvili informed them that the report should be with the Lami Health Centre.
