THOUSANDS of Muslims celebrated Prophet Mohammed's birthday around the country on Monday.
Chief Justice Anthony Gates highlighted the importance of Prophet Mohammed's teaching during celebrations at the Fazal e Umar Mosque in Samabula.
Also families from around the Central Division flocked to Suva Point picnic spot to enjoy the public holiday.
