THE Fiji Bowling Association will roll off the new season with the National Triples Championship at the Suva Bowling Club next month.
The tournament is expected to attract the top bowlers from around the country including Semesa Naiseruvati, Dan Lum On, Arun Kumar, Samuela Tui and Abdul Kalim all of whom represented Fiji at the World Champion of Champions in Australia late last year.
Kalim who is also the FBA secretary says the tentative calendar have been released.
He said a lot of focus would be on the local tournaments this year.
The Hutson Cup which is a club fours event is scheduled to be held in Nadi in March.
The Picket Cup will be played in the first week of May followed by the Sunny West Carnival at the end of the same month.
The Pineapple Cup will be held at the SBC from June 1-2 and will be followed by the annual South Pacific Bowling Carnival at the same venue from June 8-9.
The Master/Junior Master Singles and the Banana Cup is scheduled for July.
The Master Pairs and the Victa Clark Memorial will be held in August.
The club league competition is scheduled for September with the Raj Charan National Singles and East versus West will be held in October.
